Named after John Balletto's mother, Hazels vineyard is located on the original four acres of land that John and his mom started their vegetable business on in 1978. Now, instead of produce, there are tiny clusters of Pinot Gris.

Because there are no hills to separate it from the Pacific Ocean, the location is battered by wind and fog that rolls in unobstructed. Known as the Petaluma Wind Gap, its one of our coldest vineyard locations and the Pinot Gris here is always harvested several weeks after our Pinot Gris at Marys and Burnside Road Vineyards.
